Knight Life

Branding & Advertising

KnightLife is a medieval fantasy-themed bar that always opens at sunset.

This experiential bar is geared towards people 21 and up, though its most frequent customer base is people of all genders between 21-35 years of age.

At KnightLife, you can come with a group of 2–18 friends to join the mystery drinking game.

When you enter the bar, you are assigned a role in the kingdom and play along throughout the evening to make sure the right person sits on the throne.

A black background with multiple variations of a stylized knight helmet logo and the words "Knight Life" in different fonts and sizes. There are color swatches at the bottom, including blue, purple, yellow, and gray.
Three posters with a medieval knight theme, each with a different drink concept: a glass with red liquid and a crown design, a martini glass with flames and a knight emblem, and a knight helmet with a drink nozzle. All posters include the phrases "Turn your glass into a goblet," "Turn your cup into a chalice," and "Slay the dragon. Drink a flagon," respectively, with the tagline "live the knight life" at the bottom.

Digital Art

Head in the Clouds

Series of surrealist posters based on an active word and an illustration of a person with a different object in place of their head, combined to embody a feeling or personality.

Made with Procreate & Illustrator.

Close-up of a vintage album cover featuring a woman's figure in a red blazer, with long hair, kneeling on the ground. The image includes stylized text listing song titles such as "Stubborn Airhead," "Lofty," "Nothing Feels Quite Rooted on This Earth," "Ready to Pop," "Anchored to the Ground," and "Or Floating Up into the Clouds?"
Cover of a magazine featuring an illustration of a person sitting on a wooden chair, wearing a green jacket, black pants, and white sneakers, holding their head with one hand. The magazine title is partially visible on the left side, and the right side has a vertical text strip.
An artistic illustration of two hands holding a matchstick with a lit match. The background features partially visible large text at the top, and at the bottom, there are poetic lines about lighting a fuse, control, and melting away.
A person standing in shallow water at the edge of the sea, holding a fishing net with a fish in it. The background shows a calm beach with clear water, and a small orange fish is swimming in the water near the person's feet. The left side of the image features large, orange text that reads 'Sea'.

Pantone

I created these Pantone "swatches," inspired by the Pantone Challenge that has been going around online.

In my case, I was inspired more by the unique names of the colors than the colors themselves, though of course each one can be found in their respective swatch. I used this opportunity to work on my skills in non-human subjects.

Created in Procreate.

A Pantone color swatch card with the color named Rosewater, number 11-1408, featuring a pattern of pink roses with petals scattered on a light pink background.
Silhouette of power lines and a utility pole against a colorful sunset sky with hues of orange, pink, purple, and blue, and some clouds in the background.
Close-up of a peach with orange nectar oozing from it, with droplets hanging. The image has a Pantone color code and name: 14-1228 Peach Nectar.
A campfire with flames and sparks under a night sky, with the moon visible in the background.
Sunset over the ocean with gentle waves hitting the sandy beach, displaying pastel orange, pink, and blue colors in the sky.
A colorful illustration of a lush green island with steep cliffs, pink flowers, surrounded by blue ocean, with a rainbow and two birds in the sky, labeled 'Island Paradise'.
A stylized image of Niagara Falls with cascading water, stars and a full moon in the sky, labeled 'PANTONE 17-4123 Niagara'.
